Popularity, fame, reputation—they don't matter much to me anymore.

Not trying to be rude or anything, but that seemed rather.... ignorant with that proclamation, and I was agreeing with the OG poster because I simply have no idea who you are, or what you do, so that comment seemed to not resonate very well with me. I've asked others privately who you might be before, and to be honest, not really sure WHAT you do.

The only thing from here that I resonate poorly with, is the fact you said freelancer here, as in the past few weeks actually, I've had people trying to claim themselves to be "freelancers" and dm me for assistance in things I ask in discord for koikatsu related issues, then when we talk for a bit they try and extort me for hundreds of dollars for something they said would provide help for without even talking about money prior, so I don't really have a good rep when it comes to "freelancers*

Ignorance is bliss, I suppose. Who cares how many people know me? Right now, I'd rather not have too many people recognize me in what I'm doing. Besides, those who genuinely want to help you won't charge a penny. If they don't want to help, they'll just ignore you. Usually, the moment money comes up, you can cut ties immediately. And let's stop here. Continuing this discussion is just getting off-topic.

Not sure how I would split that wave effect into layers if thats what you mean for the tail issue (the tail issue is the red and yellow column). I've tried things like HSL and cropping but none seem to work that well for me.

The color was something wrong when using gimp for me atleast, as when I swapped to affinity and did material edits from there, there were no color discrepencies from previous use in gimp, so I havn't really used gimp since then, except for fine tuning some text on shirts because affinity when it comes to text seems to want to brick itself.

In my opinion, the tail issue could be resolved using magic tools or quick selection, but different software tools have varying levels of precision. I initially tried using web-based image editing tools but found their precision insufficient, which is why I switched to Photoshop.
As for the color issue, I'm afraid I can't help, so let's see if anyone else has a different opinion.

$40 card was just released, and expecting it to be leaked right away is behavior that’ll make card buyers turn their backs on you. The same goes for people who buy the monthly subscription reward cards. If you keep making requests like this, you going to get a lot of backlash.
At the very least, wait three days before asking.
As a representative example, fucksssss was hurt by this in the past.

Not sure how to feel about Hatoko going into fate cards when he hasn't made, or in my opinion, updated very old cards of what he has already. Some have glaring flaws that some of his recent ones have all but gotten rid of, and I think it's pretty cool. The quality in the fate cards I've seen so far however, don't quite look the part as they would in the show, but just have to wait until he may or may not post Tohsaka Rin, and thats when the real comparisons start.

I also agree on the part about waiting for card requests especially when they havn't been out for 12 hours lol. It's why I havn't asked for cards from another creator, even though I would like to.

In case of Girls Frontline 2 it's not hard since these that I have modified so far have almost the same body in the game, so it was all about getting the first one right (Suomi card), then copy it to the other ones with some very minor changes (Papasha, Yoohee).
I'll probably be chaning one more like that (Centaureissi) and be done with that stuff for now.

Man...I want to learn how to do this...

Unless the rank is "Veteran Rank", then you strip down "Rank" and its just "Veteran". Also upper lowercase missing and so on, sure after trial and error and some brain work this can be done, but its totally unnecessary since this wont be reported and taken down, and turns this thread a clone of the F95 thread.
