If you know how Fanbox works, you'll know that if this content creator puts their new product out in a week when you don't have access but you've paid for it, for example, the first week of the month, then congratulations, you'll have access to absolutely nothing for the remaining 20 days (Fanbox uses calendar period billing, which means that if you subscribe on 30 December, you'll only have access until 1 January, if you pay and remove your card from your information to avoid automatic billing).
Honestly, I'd rather they put on balaclavas and force me at gunpoint to give them my money. 👀👀

It seems stupid to me that creators like this guy don't understand early access and free distribution afterward. It's like the word "free" is poison. Making money is easy, but earning the community's respect is the real challenge.
If you ask me, this method is the smartest there is. Hentaisio, KaosKatsu, ABCEEFG, and several others who truly deserve mention are highly valued and supported users, which means leaks are minimal or nonexistent because their subscriptions are completely accessible. There's no real need to distribute content ahead of time because you know it will be free after a certain date. For example, with ABCEEFG's latest card, I think I've only seen about three requests for last month's modded card, which is being released today or tomorrow (I haven't actually checked), not to mention the number of people who subscribe.
Personally, when I can, I support them, and I've even gone so far as to not download the content for the same amount of time. But I also know I can find it for free on their Patreon or Pixiv account.
Wasn't that the true core of content distribution?🤔

Limiting access will never be synonymous with progress; unfortunately, some are forced to take that path.

There's a very emotional context that largely justifies why those packages are password-protected. But I think I can understand the frustration, too; the puzzles and videos with the passwords are simple for those who watched anime in the '90s. 😞

It weight 1-300 mb, my 3060 can run the scene with 21 fps so I think as long as I dont open the full timeline it will be fineHaving a powerful PC isn't really my thing. Pretty exhilarating to see how many of these Iwara Koikatsu (paywalled scene data) content with poorly edited in characters, shader issues and constant clipping still get many views (alongside the average MMD) without getting struck down. Heck, many just blatantly use "PROHIBITED FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES" content that they SELL as COMMISSIONS for people that are completely oblivious/ignorant of what KK is and how relatively easy it is to just.. steal scenes, replace characters, rinse and repeat. Alas, they don't even credit the original SD authors. The problem lies with them themselves. Hadara sees the leaking as the problem, and their solution is to make it even harder to acquire their products. In contrast, Hentaisio doesn't have a leaking problem because there isn't a flawed distribution of their products. Hentaisio had issues with his pc, so no free releases, did any of us leaked any of his private cards? didn't we? oh!.
These kinds of users create their own problems, and to solve the problems they caused, they create even more problems. Yeah is sad, but you started your own leaking problem.
And regarding Iwara, yes and no;
everything is more blatant there, and the platform has worse moderation than Pixiv when it comes to complaints, even if you read otherwise. At least on Pixiv, you occasionally see someone getting hammered down for using content without permission, but on Iwara, it doesn't matter. And lately they are getting massive AI slop videos, worse slop than r34gen, Id rather masturbate to female tung tung tung sahur than that shit.
And the yes side is because, while is true leaks jumps there as quick as blatant, is due to scalpels and resellers where it lies. On Iwara is extremely easy to milk gooners with random trash dances. It depends the scene creator in this case, being just straight up sex videos just mid, It's more common to find 20-minute videos, in which a few seconds sex scene is interspersed every few minutes, and in my experience, the vast majority don't put much effort into editing the video, so they just grab whatever they can find. Fully of clipping, dislocation of limbs, texture clipping, sun on the top 90degress but shadows are 180 degress, sex scenes fully of clipping, not even bothering to fix a simple nodeconstraint x axis -0.0001 offset, they just open studio, change characters, videoexport and that's it day done!, and so they take +10GB of random scenes, download, unzip (making sure has no password to do less effort like what this clown do) shove everything on their studio, set and done.

They should be simple for anyone with any sort of media literacy, access to a search engine, a keyboard, and at least one working eyeball. The lyrics are right there, they can be typed into Google, DuckDuckGo, Yandex, fucking Bing or Yahoo, any search engine.
Or trace.moe can be used with screenshots.
There's no "not nerd enough", no malicious gatekeeping, and no age gate in the passwords; the inability to decipher them is just incompetency and a lack of ability to use tools. I haven't seen most of the anime in those links, yet I could find the passwords just fine using the barest minimum of brain power.

And I used Iwara crudely to find models and motions for MMD back in the day, and now I don't even consider it for a real search. Even E-hentai or Rule 34 (with or without AI-generated content) offer more diversity and references if you want to recreate something. Specifically, I'm starting to see a problem that originated outside the community, but at this point, it's already up to its neck in filth.
Aside from the measures Harada or other creators are taking to prevent leaks of paid content, we're probably talking about a situation that's been weighing them down for over a year. Sure, I still disagree with their plan, but that doesn't make it truly bad. Another problem, though, is that these decisions have a domino effect that honestly doesn't look promising. 🤔 🤔
