I try to copy the material setting, but the first one is KKUS and the second one is xukmi.

xukmi dont have Tess and displacement setting.

It very much has tess and displacement, they're just not as organized as KKUTS is.

Regarding suyasuya, I've been thinking about buying one of their card. Reading about this kinda worries me. Would my lack of japanese knowledge be an issue when buying?

Personal tastes speaking (sorry for the general non-answer to your question): I'd only buy SuyaSuya's MMD/VRChat stuff. His koi stuff just isn't very good and rather seems to scream "I realized there's a paying customer base here with lower standards than VRChat/MMD".

Since updating BetterRepack is quite the hassle and my version of KK surprisingly still compatible with most of the cards, I didn't bother to update. Probably will wait until I can afford a new hard drive to back up all my stuff.

Anyway, thanks for the outfits! Wish you have a wonderful 2026! (Is it a bit early for this…? Maybe…?)

There are some anime i don’t know, and yet i know that there are apps that can detect music. Enter the name of the song on Google and gather the information. Now, if this is too difficult for you, i invite you to leave this forum and never come back. The same goes for those who play the hero by giving out the password.

Yes, you are right. There's many more reasons to set passwords. There are literally link crawlers on every server and group where leaked cards are shared; setting a password directly prevents these malicious users from accessing that content. And because of how a crawler works, they'll have the file but not the password, and then here's that dude what doesn't care about anything but goon, helping whoever malicious actor to just come here, search "password" and wow thanks, very useful newbie.
The newbie who has only 4 posts, only asking for shit, not helping, not giving opinions about anything, not using search bar, not googling shit, just a waste of time on this forum and ppl involved.
We really need gatekeeping as he cries about. Like really needed.

That's fair, haha. I recently got a 14TB hard drive to back up my collections and always had the spare room to back up most of my koi install. Though if I were to be frank: Don't update BetterRepack, just grab stuff from the various Git repositories for the bepinex\plugins folder. It's significantly smaller and quicker than updating the full BetterRepack/HF patch and you can update just the things you actually want.

Actually, I put together a pack of a few of the essentials + optional plugins that I like, here you are:

Press F1 to open Configuration Manager—if you're in Maker, this'll open up the options, go to the Plugin Settings tab:
Then, search "Material" and adjust the height slider. You'll have to restart your game after adjusting this setting!

You can also adjust your game's UI scaling by searching "KKUS" and adjusting the scaling in it.

There's this one MMD motion maker whose passwords are like this and they make me viscerally angry every time I have to decipher them rofl.

The password hint was
パスワードは動画中に登場する曲名をはんかくかたかな＋色です。（計6文字）
The password is the song title appearing in the video in half-width katakana plus a color. (Total of 6 characters)
And the answer
ｱﾝﾃﾞｯﾄﾞ青

This was the easiest one (after I remembered how to enter half-width kana lol) on their channel. The rest were like
パスワードの最後に口に含んだカラスの数を入れてください。（全角計３字）
The password is the number of crows held in the character's mouth at the end. (Total of 3 full-width characters)
I never figured it out... Wasn't one, ００１, 001, 01羽, いち羽, 01わ, いちわ, イチワ, etc.

jfc, the worst part about this one is that hanakotoba (Japanese Flower Language) isn't even consistent, so the meanings could be literally anything depending on which book or website you use.
